Blood Visions Paranormal Mysteries

Scrying: the ability to induce psychic visions using a reflective surface, such as a crystal ball or even… blood.

Kindle (V2) (401x640)

A SCRYING SHAME is a paranormal mystery (with funny bits, of course.) It’s the first in the Blood Visions Paranormal Mystery series and is a 2015 Kindle Scout winner.

Following a near death experience, twenty-five-year-old Arie Stiles decides she might as well take the job nobody else wants: a crime scene clean-up technician. It’s good money, which she could use, and death doesn’t hold a lot of mystery for her.

Or so she thinks.

Arie isn’t on the job long before discovering she’s been “gifted” with a new psychic talent—the ability to scry. Whether she wants to or not, Arie can read the memories of the dead in their blood.

When she is assigned to clean the crime scene of Marissa Mason, the socialite author of the best-selling gold-diggers’ bible, “Rich Bitch,” Arie finds herself haunted by blood visions day and night, and to her shock discovers an unexpected family connection to the victim. With her brother suffering the unwanted attention of the police as the primary suspect, can Arie face her fear of the blood visions long enough to follow the trail of clues left in the murdered woman’s memories and find the real culprit?

Scry Me A River

Book 2 in the Blood Visions Paranormal Mystery series

Crime scene cleanup technician Arie Stile is desperate for the visions to stop. Especially since the deceased whose memories she unwillingly reads while mopping up his blood is a most unpleasant man. Unfortunately, Arie knows from past experiences that the only way to get rid of the intrusive memories is to solve his murder.

If that means teaming up with her cranky, “senior delinquent” grandfather to infiltrate the River Rest Senior Center, then—like it or not—that’s just what Arie will have to do.

  1. I just finished A Scrying Shame. I wasn’t sure at first, it seemed a little slow, but it was to get me set up. Get invested in the character Arie and her story. But man, I LOVED it. Like the Letty books, I loved it because I didn’t figure it out. And to me I like to have a good surprise on who did it, love the twists and turns authors take. I’m loving Donna’s writing and honestly just found her books recently.

    1. I’m so glad you did find them! That’s the hard part for an author. Getting folks to find my books. Oh! And then hoping they like them. Good to hear from you, Gail. Thank you!

  2. Thanks Donna I have enjoyed all 12 step books. I was working away from home for 6 months . Missing my friends from Thursday night group the readings helped a lot thanks Now I am retired still reading your books.I must say I was a bit sceptical about your new series but just like the Letty books I was hooked after the first chapter and found the first book in the blood-visions series left me wanting more. Thanks

    1. That’s wonderful, Don! And I’m glad you enjoyed A Scrying Shame. I’m working on book 2 in that series now. Blessings! Donna

  3. Loved the Letty series and just read the first book of the blood visions paranormal series and I really liked it

    1. Thank you, Kim! I’m writing the 2nd in the Blood Visions series now. It’s called “Scry Me A River.” Theoretically, since I fractured my foot and I’m stuck in a chair all day, I should be writing faster but the Vicodin has a way of distracting me from what I’m supposed to be doing. Anyway, thank you for your sweet note and I hope you like A Scrying Shame!
